Ingredients
  

Crisp Topping

  • 3/4 cup rolled oat
  • 1 and 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds

Peach Layer

  • 9 medium peaches sliced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and prep your pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine your peach slices, lemon juice, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon and butter. Using your fingers, rub the butter into the dry mixture until it is all incorporated. Small chunks and fine. Pour in your milk and stir. Rather than form a dough, break apart the clumps.
  • In your pan, lay out a layer of teachers evenly. Add the topping and spread evenly. Sprinkle with sliced almonds and cinnamon.
  • Bake for 20 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes to let the filling firm up. Enjoy!
