Ingredients
- 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup butter melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extracts
- 4 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 3 tbsp fresh lemon zest
- 1 cup fresh, juicy blueberries
- 1/2 cup whole milk or buttermilk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F or 180℃ and prepare a 9 by 5 bread loaf pan with parchment paper or butter and flour.
- In a small bowl, sift together your flour, salt, and baking powder.
- In a larger bowl, combine your butter, sugar, and eggs. Whisk until the sugar dissolves. Add your flavoring–or your vanilla, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
- Add half your dry mixture to your wet mixture. Then add your whole milk. Fold the ingredients until fully combined. Add the last bit of your dry ingredients and your blueberries. Fold to fully combine and ensure there are no flour pockets left.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes.
- Cool for 30 minutes.
