What are brownie cookies?

these cookies taste just like brownies. They are super dense and moist. The cookies are very crunchy on the outside, and soft and chewy on the inside. They taste similar to chocolate cake or a brownie. The cookies take about 20 minutes to make and come together in a bowl! this recipe is easy and delicious!!

Special recipe

It took me a while to find an easy but delicious recipe. Most recipe for brownie cookies call for 2 chocolate bars, a double boiler and cream of tartar. I decided to find/make a recipe that can be made in one bowl (like brownies). The cookies taste better than any other recipe I’ve tried and they are super easy to make! The recipe calls for melting the butter (in the microwave) and no melted chocolate. I found that it the flavor does not change between high quality pure chocolate and just chocolate chips. (You can use what you have or like.)

Important Notes:

  • It’s okay for your wets picture to thicken after you add the butter. As shown in the video, when the butter cools it will thicken.
  • It’s normal for the dough to be very thick, unlike other recipes these cookies need no chilling
  • Chilling the cookies will result in overall thick cookies
  • I recommend using a cookie scoop
