Store bought juice is not as healthy as you think. Although it claims to be all natural it will never have the same benefits as freshly juiced fruits. I have recently started using my juicer and it has been life changing! These juices are delicious and super customizable. Check out my blog post for more detail.
Here is a guide to help you make the perfect juices that are nutrient dense and delicious.
A good juicer
Make sure you get yourself a good juicer before you get started. I highly recommend a Cuisinart Juicer they aren’t too pricey but are super high quality. I have also heard that the Breville juicer works well (I have never tried it)
Watch the video for details:
The steps it takes:
Pick a base:
The base should be a watery vegetable such as celery or cucumber. Something like lettuce would work ver well.
Add leafy greens:
These are for flavor, color and space.
Add some veggies and fruit:
These add nutrients and so much flavor! Make sure you use fresh ingredients. Note: Strawberries will separate from the veggies (I think this still tastes good and looks really cool). Apple works with any veggies. Try to only use compatible ingredients.
Add some detoxifying ingredients
These are wonderful for your body and so much flavor and color. I love to use lemon, turmeric and beets.
My Favorite Recipe:
You can adapt this recipe to fit your style and flavor. No measurement really matters; you should definitely adapt the recipe to fit your needs
