What is matcha?
Matcha is powdered green tea. It is typically known for being a Japanese green tea. You can find many hot green tea recipes, iced green teas, and green tea lattes. I’ve tried many recipes, and the smallest change can really effect the outcome!
Iced Matcha Latte
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 1 tbsp matcha powder
- 24 oz of milk
- 1 cup ice
- 4 tbsp of granulated sugar
Instructions
- In two glasses, add the ice and milk and sugar. At half of each into each glass. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine the matcha and hot water. Whisk until fully combined.
- Pour half of the matcha substance into each glass.
- Stir and enjoy!
