Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/8 cups granulated sugar
- 6 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/8 cup butter melted and cooled
- 1 and 3/4 cup milk warmed/heated
- 3 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Sift the flour into a large bowl. Add your sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Sift and make a hole in the center to pour the wet ingredients into the dry.
- Pour your melted butter, egg, milk, and vanilla extract into the center. Fold the mixture together to form pockets of air. Fold until there are no pockets of flour and there are some lumps.
- Heat your pan on medium-low heat and place a dab of butter onto the pan for each pancake. Pour 1/3 cup batter into the pan and cook for 45sec-1min on the side. Cook for 30-45 more seconds on the other side. It should be gold-brown and thick.
- Serve warm with maple syrup and enjoy.
